Funeral Costs

Professional Services

We are devoted to ensuring each funeral is as unique as the life it celebrates.

We will bring the deceased into our care, prepare all required documentation and liaison with the appropriate authorities.

Your funeral director will manage all necessary communications and arrange attendance of the Minister/Celebrant of your choice, and they will supervise and conduct the funeral service in accordance with your instructions,

We will make the necessary disbursement payments on your behalf.

Additionally, we carry out hygienic treatment, washing and dressing and we can offer use of our funeral homes for viewing your loved one. We have our own fleet of Jaguar XJ Hearses and limousines for hire and can arrange alternative funeral vehicles if desired.

 

Andrew Anderson & Sons Funeral Directors does not charge extra for:

  • Coming to your home to make arrangements
  • Out of hours attendance
  • Collection of clothing locally
  • Family viewing
  • Saturday morning funerals
  • Additional staff
  • Delivery of ashes locally
  • Online obituary

When the funeral arrangements have been completed, we will issue a full written estimate based on the arrangements discussed.

We will ask for a deposit to cover the third-party costs that we will initially pay on your behalf. This payment is required to be settled prior to the funeral taking place.

Where a solicitor has agreed to accept and settle the invoice, or a pre-paid funeral plan is in place, the need for a deposit is waived.

Funeral invoices are issued after the funeral and we request that payment is made within 21 days.

At Andrew Anderson & Sons Funeral Directors we do not wish to add any worry or uncertainty at this time, we have a range of payment options available.
