Andrew Anderson & Sons, Funeral Directors Callander, are holding a Charity Day on Saturday 23rd May 2015 to raise funds for the Chloe McIntyre Fund within Yorkhill Children’s Charity in memory of Chloe McIntyre.
The aim of the fund is to build a sensory room and roof top garden within the new Yorkhill Hospital. The rooms will be named after Chloe and will be opened summer this year. The fund is currently at £54,000 which is just amazing!
Chloe was born with a heart condition called Truncas Arteriosis and she spent majority of her life in Yorkhill Hospital and in particular in the Cardiac Ward 5a and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She underwent successful open heart surgery at 4 weeks old but due to certain complications was placed on an ECMO (life support) machine after the surgery and sadly passed away at six weeks and two days old. There is so many children in Yorkhill fighting for their life’s so raising money helps these children have a better time in hospital.
We currently have availability for team of 4 which is priced at £140 per team (£35pp) and that includes Tea/Coffee & bacon Roll, 18 holes of Texas Scramble golf, 2 course meal in the Clubhouse, raffle & prize-giving.
